Meet our Team

  • Katie Green

    Dr Katie Green

    Branch Manager/Veterinary Surgeon

    BVSc (Hons) MRCVS

Katie qualified from Bristol University in 2003 and worked in mixed practice in Cornwall before joining the Willows Veterinary Group. After working in one of our sister branches, Katie made the move to Broom Cottage and became Branch Manager. Katie enjoys all aspects of dog and cat medicine and general practice and gets great job satisfaction being privy to the incredible bond between pet and owner.

Katie lives at home with her family and a vast array of pets including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, goats and sheep. Katie’s oldest pet Tilly has been with her since she graduated and is a rather cheeky and independent Patterdale Terrier, who still keeps Katie on her toes. Katie also has a trio of cats called Thunder, Ginger and Socks, two guinea-pigs called Lulu and Wiggy, three pygmy goats (who love to escape and eat Katie’s garden) and six sheep.

She has particular interests in feline medicine, ophthalmology and anaesthesia.

Outside of work, she has two little tortoiseshell rescue cats found through Broom (perk of the job!) called Bramble and Fern. She also enjoys spending time outdoors riding and competing in dressage with her horse Pearl.
